ONE-ON-ONE COACHING

Move Forward With Clarity.

For capable people standing in front of a meaningful goal, decision, transition, or next step.

You may already know there is more in front of you.

  • Maybe it is a goal you have carried for years.
  • Maybe it is a dream that feels too important to ignore.
  • Maybe it is a decision, transition, or challenge that keeps asking for your attention.
  • Maybe it is a next step you can picture but have not yet been able to take.

Coaching gives you a structured space to think clearly, tell the truth about what is holding you back, develop a practical plan, and keep moving.

Coaching may be a good fit if you are:

  • Considering a significant life, leadership, or career decision
  • Pursuing a dream, goal, or project that has felt out of reach
  • Navigating a transition and needing a grounded plan
  • Feeling stuck but not defeated
  • Ready to take a chance on yourself
  • Looking for practical accountability, not just encouragement
  • Wanting a thoughtful guide who will help you clarify and act

Coaching will help bring:

Clarity

Name what matters, what needs to change, and the next meaningful step when the path remains unclear.

Courage

Move forward in the presence of fear, uncertainty, risk, or resistance when something meaningful is at stake.

Strategy

Build a workable path that respects real constraints without unnecessarily shrinking what you genuinely want to pursue.

Accountability

Create the people, structures, and commitments that keep meaningful progress visible, supported, measured, and moving forward.

Action

Turn intention into meaningful movement through small, consistent steps that carry you steadily forward over time.

A practical process for meaningful movement

  • Discover — We begin by identifying what brought you here, what feels stuck, and what you want to move toward.

  • Clarify — We define the goal, decision, challenge, or opportunity with greater honesty and precision.

  • Strategize — We create a practical path with next steps that match your season, capacity, values, and desired outcome.

  • Act — You take meaningful steps between sessions, supported by reflection and accountability.

  • Adjust — We evaluate what is working, what is changing, and what needs to be refined.

Depending on your goals, coaching conversations may include:

  • Goal clarification
  • Decision processing
  • Strengths and obstacles assessment
  • Mindset and resistance work
  • Next-step planning
  • Leadership and communication reflection
  • Accountability check-ins
  • Strategy development
  • Personal or professional transition planning

Encouraging, but not vague. Strategic, but not cold.

Ascendia coaching is designed to be warm, honest, practical, and action-oriented. You will not be pushed into a one-size-fits-all formula. You will be helped to think clearly, act courageously, and move in a direction that is actually aligned with who you are and what matters.

Frequently Asked Questions

Coaching is a structured, forward-looking conversation designed to help you move toward something meaningful.

At Ascendia, coaching gives you space to clarify where you are, where you want to go, what may be getting in the way, and what practical steps can help you move forward. It is not just encouragement, and it is not a one-size-fits-all formula. It is a thoughtful process of reflection, strategy, accountability, and action.

The goal is to help you see more clearly, act more courageously, and take meaningful next steps with greater confidence.

Coaching with Ascendia is for capable people who sense that something meaningful is in front of them but need help moving toward it.

That may include individuals, leaders, business owners, entrepreneurs, nonprofit leaders, or people navigating a personal or professional transition. You may be facing a dream, goal, decision, challenge, opportunity, or next step that matters too much to keep postponing.

You do not need to have everything figured out before beginning. Coaching is often most helpful when you know something needs to move forward, but you need a trusted guide to help you clarify what that movement should look like.

No. Many people begin coaching because they do not yet have full clarity.

You may have a general sense that something needs to change, a dream that keeps resurfacing, a decision you have been circling, or a goal that feels important but undefined. Coaching helps you slow down, sort through the noise, ask better questions, and name what actually matters.

You do not need a polished plan before the first conversation. You only need a willingness to be honest about where you are and open to exploring what a meaningful next step could look like.

No. Coaching is not counseling, therapy, diagnosis, or treatment.

Counseling and therapy often focus on healing, mental health, trauma, or clinical concerns. Coaching focuses on goals, growth, decisions, transitions, strategy, accountability, and forward movement. It is designed for people who are ready to think clearly about what is next and take practical steps toward meaningful progress.

There may be moments when personal history, fear, or internal resistance become part of the conversation, but the purpose of coaching is not clinical treatment. The purpose is to help you move forward with clarity, courage, and action.

Yes. While Ascendia’s primary public offering is coaching, many coaching conversations naturally include leadership, business, team, nonprofit, or organizational questions.

Your personal growth and your leadership responsibilities are often connected. A coaching conversation may involve decision-making, communication, strategic clarity, team challenges, organizational direction, or the pressure of carrying responsibility for others.

When helpful, Kevin brings decades of leadership, communication, and organizational experience into the coaching process. The focus remains the same: helping you clarify what matters, think strategically, and take the next meaningful and practical step.

The best way to know is to experience the conversation. During the complimentary 30-minute coaching conversation, we’ll spend a few minutes getting acquainted and then begin working on whatever brought you to Ascendia.

You should leave with greater clarity or a useful next step whether or not we continue working together. Along the way, both of us will get a natural sense of whether an ongoing coaching relationship would be helpful.

There is no required next step.

If the conversation gives you what you need, that is a good outcome. If continued coaching would be useful, we can talk naturally about what moving forward might look like, including the kind of support, timing, and investment that would make sense.

If we need more time to discuss a potential coaching relationship, we can simply schedule another conversation. There is no pressure to make a decision during the introductory conversation.

Coaching with Ascendia is an investment of time, effort, and money—and for many people, the financial investment may be significant. I don’t want to minimize that.

I also believe cost is only one part of the question. It can be equally important to consider what it would be worth to gain clarity, make a difficult decision, move through something that has kept you stuck, or finally make meaningful progress toward a goal or dream that matters to you.

I don’t publish pricing on the website because I want our first conversation to focus on what you are trying to accomplish, not on a package or a number. If continued coaching seems useful after the complimentary coaching conversation, we will talk plainly about the kind of support that might help and what it would cost before you make any commitment.

Your next step does not have to stay vague.

Bring something that matters, and we’ll start working on it together.
